We're hiring: Junior Apparel Designer
📍 Somerville, MA (Hybrid – 2+ days/week in office)

Janji is seeking a Junior Apparel Designer to join our product team and help bring innovative, adventure-ready running gear to life. This is a full-time, in-person/hybrid role ideal for someone with 1–2 years of apparel design experience looking to grow with a fast-paced brand.

What you'll do:

• Design best in class technical apparel and accessories
• Support seasonal color merch, graphic placement, and product development
• Assist with lab dips, strike-offs, fabric/trim submits, and fabric library management
• Support sample check-in, spec measuring, workmanship reviews, and tech packs
• Maintain CAD libraries and seasonal merch boards
• Conduct market and trend research
  

What you bring:

• 1–2 years of apparel design experience
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator
• Basic knowledge of garment construction, production, fit, color theory, and print methods
• Strong visual communication and organizational skills
• Bonus: experience with pattern making, 3D design, or pattern software
  

This role is based in our Somerville HQ with hybrid flexibility (minimum two days per week in office).
